Wrote Right Through Post #5,000 Without Noticing

5000posts.jpg

This entry will be #5,009 for American Digest. Whew!

[If you add in the 3,287 entries over "On The Right" you get 8,296 since June of 2003. But who's counting?]

Thank you for your continuing addition to nicely written and thoughtful posts.

Many more.

No doubt about it: you're a giver!

I just looked up the word "prolific" in the dictionary and they had your pic there.

Thanks for all of it.

I dunno.

If you get cracking you can break 9.000 by 2010.

*wink*

Something for the Conservative Revolutionary Front to celebrate...advise...your minions await...

I've crunched the numbers. American Digest is 2,382 days old, so you've served up 2.103 posts per day on the left side.

It is a mentionable gift to humanity, and I drink a toast to it tonight. May it be remembered many years from now as merely the beginning.

I think I'll just shoot myself and stop this now.

The ancient Phoenicians were thought to celebrate literary milestones by shouting "woot" and doing chest bumps*.

So "Woot!" and consider yourself chest bumped.

*there is no record of Phoenicians writing much, but they knew all about galleys.

Back to your oar, please....and thank you.

Well, the Phoenicians may not have written much, but since they did sort of kick start real writing they did their bit.

I must apologize; "the Phoenicians" is a years- ong running punch line here in the home of the Team.

Which means absolutely nothing outside. I meant all the best.

Please signal next time you intend to hit Moab.

I'm in awe. I don't know how you do it Gerard, but I am so glad you do. You, along with Wretchard the Great, make me feel smarter and more importantly not so alone in this world. In a very real and important sense (to me at least) you have become a friend. I wish that I had more to offer you in return besides my gratitude and affection! Blessings to you.

I am impressed. I wish I could write as well and as often as you do, but I'm hard pressed to scratch out my desires to the sumo wrestler in the baths.

Congrats and thanks for all you do!
