I wanted get get rid of television service altogether at our house, and change my telephone and internet connection from Charter Communications back to Verizon. No big deal, right?

I spent (NOT EXAGGERATING FOR DRAMATIC EFFECT HERE)over six hours on the phone with this guy in the video, and his several counterparts in New Delhi, Texas, Georgia, and who knows where the hell else without any one of them able to get this simple order done correctly. I woke up this morning with my phone cut off, and the latest service tech informing me that the soonest they could get my phone back on was the 2nd of February, at which point I could begin the process of getting a DSL modem installed.
God bless the good folks at Charter. I drove down to their office, and had the entire thing resolved in less than twenty minutes, and got a better rate on both phone and high speed internet to boot.
