| Special Comment - Keith Olbermann's Name-Calling | ||||
| ||||
Exactly why MSNBC keeps Olbermann on the air and his pockets full of dough is no mystery. While it is true that Glenn Reynolds' Instapundit blog has a greater reach than Olbermann's extended 2-Minute-Hate, it is also true that without Olbermann's basement ratings MSNBC would have no ratings at all.
Still, among his morlocks, Olbermann seems to lurch on.... until last night when Jon Stewart rammed a spit through him mouth to fundament and turned him slowly over a hot fire for seven minutes.
Dee-licious!

BRAVO!
Posted by: Webutante at January 22, 2010 10:14 AMUnlike GE (which is widely diversified) the new owner of MSNBC, Comcast is exposed to ruination by a consumer boycott.
Just wait until the typical Comcast cable customer realizes that his/her monthly payment is subsidizing
the vile Mr O.
Awright, awright, enough awreddy with the discrimination against the uneducated. I had to go all the way to Google to translate that into real money.
The trip was worth it, though, as it produced the following response to the Two Minute Hatemeister:
FUTUE TE ET IPSUM CABALLUM
Posted by: Rob De Witt at January 22, 2010 11:42 AMSUCH A WAY WITH WORDS, MR DE WITT! I'll RAISE YOU, SIR, WITH GENTLE ADVICE FOR ALL:
NIL ILLEGITIMUS CARBORUNDUM!
Posted by: Webutante at January 22, 2010 2:38 PMIs it just me, or does all that Latin make anyone else break into a sweat?
Posted by: Dewey From Detroit at January 22, 2010 3:04 PMHow Olberman ever got any higher than doing sports in L.A. is beyond me. He was a tool back then, he is a tool now.
Posted by: Mark at January 22, 2010 3:08 PMAnd who called it out? All credit to Jon Stewart.
Posted by: Charles Croninger at January 22, 2010 6:55 PMThat was a righteous video fisking. A point by point demolition of a pompous ass masquerading as a journalist.
Posted by: kcom at January 22, 2010 8:01 PMWhat a vacca stulta that Olbermannius is.
Posted by: David at January 23, 2010 1:16 AMPlease fix this video link. I want to see Olbermann skewered!
Posted by: ExDem in Mich at January 23, 2010 2:39 AMExposing Olbermanns pompous insanity through ridicule is the one form of attack that he and MSNBC can't withstand. Obama won't withstand it either and "IT HAS STARTED SIR, IT HAS STARTED!"
Posted by: Mike at January 23, 2010 5:11 AMThat was a class A roast.
Posted by: pdwalker at January 23, 2010 9:13 AMExdem, link works for me.
Posted by: vanderleun at January 23, 2010 9:23 AMHere's a more sober roasting.
Bill Whittle goes after the MSM's heroes.
Posted by: Cathy at January 24, 2010 1:18 PM“In Scott Brown we have an irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against woman and against politicians with whom he disagrees.”
Here we have the jealous ravings of a full blown "loving and tolerant" liberal.
What miscreant would wish to see pictures of a naked Keith Olbermann anyway?
