Warren Ballentine Tells Juan Williams to "Go back to the porch!"

Good for him. When I was a teenager in the early 90s, I had a great-aunt on the darker spectrum of the colorful side of the family, and I'll never forget how shocked and horrified my mom was that Auntie was a Limbaugh fan.
Mom: "But he's a racist!"
Auntie: "Have you ever listened to what he has to say?"
Mom: "Well, no, but the talk stations (in Seattle) that I listen to play clips, and he's just terrible! He hates black people."

As far as I know, mom's never changed her mind. But Auntie planted a seed in mine...

Leftist scorched earth policy in smearing Rush and anyone who defends him. In the racist statements by the left, Juan Williams and Rev Hutcherson have just gotten a small taste of what Justice Clarence Thomas went thru, including the unbelievable cheap shot by Obama in the debates. Obama cannot carry Justice Thomas' shoes. Regarding the racism on the left, they have gotten away with outrageous accusations and allegations for years. Each and every lie must be answered. Time to hit back or they will win.

The condescension and rank bigotry of the Democrats is just stunning sometimes. Stunning.

This is a story because Juan Williams is a little slow. I listened to Williams when he was the host of NPRs Talk of The Nation. Each show, regardless of topic, became the "explain this slowly to Juan" show. He routinely asked scripted questions that had just been preemptively answered by the guest speaking before the question was asked.

Guest: and I first realized what Mr. X was all about when I first met him in Alabama in 1966.

Williams: When and where did you first meet Mr. X?

Liberals don't throw buckets of horse manure on conservatives because they have detected some serious shortage of manure from their targets.

Conservatives have to stop getting derailed and preoccupied trying to disprove the most recent liberal charge against them and go on the attack against liberals. Only when liberals become fearful of the reaction from conservatives will liberals tone down their baseless attacks.

When do you see liberals attacking dangerous groups or dangerous people? They support the dangerous and scary to keep from being targeted by the dangerous and scary.

The sympathetic liberal media isn't going to trumpet the unfair attacks in any serious manner so that uninterested moderates see the true face of liberalism. You'll never get more than a tiny handful of liberals distancing themselves from these tactics for more than one especially outrageous episode.

The liberals that use these tactics don't care if the charges are true or don't care enough to ask if the charges are true. We waste a lot of time thinking if we just prove the charges are false we will gain any support. We are fact driven, they are emotion driven. If liberals are frustrated by us then we might as well be pedophile racists desiring dirty water and global forest fires because, like narcissistic children, there is nothing more evil in their world than thwarting their desire of the moment.

They seek to insinuate their views into every facet of life and we want to be left alone. That is why they are taking over everything in sight. We retreat and they advance.

I suggest somethign along the lines of the student protests of the 1960s and 1970s. Let them fear angry mobs will show up at their meetings and disrupt even a PTA discussion about the playground. They are actively working to ruin every productive aspect of this country, surely that's enough to warrant giving up TV for one or tw nights per week.

Good to see Juan showing grit.

Like Scott I sometimes felt Juan was not well suited to his line of work. Not a slam, very few people are going to excel in national TV or radio political talkfests.

But enough of that, he satisfies the people who put him on TV and radio. He doesn't have to satisfy me.

Still I saw him occasionally over the years (I watch little political TV, it just seems so worthless.) And IMO he did his best to stay both sane and somewhat left of center.

Now he is finding out what being mildly to the left means. It means you aren't left enough.

I'd started using the mute button on Juan the past few months. In a less ominous political climate I might be able to listen to his lame defense of the left.

Sad that it took a slur like this to open his eyes.

I'll give the mute button a rest - for bit.

Great ending: "Welcome home, Juan."
