Saturday Unfunnies: America's Future ISMS from 1948

One could wish that convincing the Left of the truth in that were as easy as showing this cartoon around. If every public schoolkid had to watch it and discuss it, think of the innoculative power it could have. But alas, as a nation we've been slurping down that poison for a few generations now, and not enough people have a tolerance to it.

Lord, what fools we humans are. If the makers of that film could see us now, they might feel the same way Cassandra felt, or any prophet of old who could only watch the inevitable devastation resulting from the stupid behavior of their fellows, their words of wisdom unheeded not only at the time of utterance, but again and again throughout history.

Thank you Gerard - it will travel well.

So much good sense distilled into 10 minutes.

It's a shame that world no longer exists.

The ISM salesman has an uncanny resemblance to the current snake oil salesman--the smug self-assurance and huge smile. This is a brilliant film. Too bad nothing like this would be produced today.
