Comments: One of the Burning Questions of Life
Never thought much about candy corn other than "Candy corn!" (grab handful, insert in mouth, eat, swallow) "Mmmmm candy. Must be near Halloween."
Now a real question: when was the last time you sat on a couch upside down and looked about the house? Kids do that all the time, and I have done it again and thought, "Whoa - I seriously need to vaccuum." And "So that's where that [object/thing] went."

Of course I eat candy corn in sections!
Starting with the white part, naturally. Which is most certainly its little foot.
