Shit. It happened to FDR. Sumbeyotch made the Depression worse with his policies including increased taxes on labor (aka social security). Talked neutrality and made deals with the British Emprie - think the Japs and the Huns didn't pick up on that (aka lend-lease). Not saying the fascists didn't deserve a kick in the ass. I am asserting that we shouldn't have adopted fascist policies - which we have done by socializing medicine (aka medicare), schools (loans, etc.) and now the gov eats up 40% of the economy. Mussolini couldn't have asked for more.
