Just Say No to NPR

Your power of restraint is nothing short of phenomenal. I'd have given them a load of invective that would singe even Velociman's keyboard.

Excellent, good on you Sir!

Posted by tim at February 1, 2010 9:13 AM

Well done, Sir. Hopefully this will be one of many tiny actions leading to "a death by 1,000 cuts" for the commies.
PS. Although I am currently on the west coast, I have been getting calls and e-mails on an almost daily basis from patriots across the country who are moving to action in order to save the Nation. As conservatives begin to build momentum towards a national consensus, we must continue to "pour on the coal". We posess the capability to overwhelm the leftist controlled media and we must continue to educate America's citizens of the absolute imperitive of taking action to reverse course NOW!
Every Democrat turned equals two votes. One less for them and one more for us. Don't let up now.
"The Lord helps those who help themselves"
God Bless America, one Nation under God.
Thank You.

So cynical Gerard.
Surely NPR wouldn't have used your photo to portray her and those tea bagger's as odd ball's and weirdo's...surely.

Posted by westsoundmodern at February 1, 2010 9:40 AM

I concur with above comments. I'm sure NPR isn't used to getting the door slammed in their face.

They couldn't even get your web address right for goodness sake. What can we expect?

Wouldn't if be something if some major MSM figure actually had the balls to do a fair piece about what the Tea Party movement is about and how they were tea bagged by the MSM? I know, I know. But I can dream.

Posted by JD at February 1, 2010 9:51 AM

JWM said it.

Hats off to your restraint.

But as I'm sure this is the first refusal they've received in a long time -

it's very sweet for it's delicate denial - for your reluctance to participate in their leftist agenda.

Nice that you've got the creds, too.

Yeah.

Sweeeet.

Good luck. How much you want to bet they steal it anyway.

Posted by Fat Man at February 1, 2010 10:53 AM

Devil's advogate here. Why not let NPR have more rope? Another hit piece is just one more turd on the pile. It won't change the minds of the listeners that like that sh*t, but it will further enrage those who will likely be paying NPR's bills in the future.

Posted by chuck at February 1, 2010 11:09 AM

I take your point, Chuck. But since the photograph is mine I decided, "Not my rope."

And they won't steal it. Copyright infringement would cost them too much.

Posted by vanderleun at February 1, 2010 11:47 AM

Attaboy. Forgiveness is likely to cost them a lot more than permission would.

I like it. dude. I also like 'weekend edition' to be referred to as 'weakened condition'. Use as you wish.

What Breitbart says

Let the pwnage continue sans cesse.

You used to work at that loony bin known as KPFK!!?!

You'll have to tell me that story some time, Gerard.

Regards,
Rob

Excellent Mr. Vanderleun!

It's time the lame-stream newzkinder are made aware that all us stupid flyover 'Tea Bag speaking' wingnuts have have plum done figg'red out that they can't be trusted with anything.

I'd love to see many more examples where their noses are rubbed in their own contempt...Like naughty little puppies.

They've certainly earned earned it.

The success of Fox News must just burn their bellies.

Hmmmm, seems my typin' fingers have developed a a a stutter.

Posted by monkeyfan at February 1, 2010 6:34 PM

Not KPFK in LA but KPFA in Berkeley.

Posted by vanderleun at February 1, 2010 6:37 PM

You sir, are my HERO of the DAY!

Posted by TRKOF at February 2, 2010 6:47 AM

One of my hard-headed conservative sons calls NPR "national puke-a-thon radio." He'll be proud of Gerard. How endless many times have conservatives and libertarians begged NPR and all their old media cousins to cover stories fairly, or even at all?

Sweet, sweet justice. Let NPR eat cake! Let them order their appalled interns into jpeg battle with the unwashed and unlettered at the Tea Parties! Let them buy photos from Fox News!

Let them search in vain for jobs when our new improved congress evaporates funding for their PC pontificating in 2013.

Although I was once a contributor to NPR and worked for several years as a broadcaster for Pacifica Radio @ KPFA....

Everytime I read this blog, all I can think is: "My God, what distances you have traversed. What a journey...."

My pal, the physician, pointed out that "NPR" is doctor shorthand for "Nil Por Rectum".

Indeed.
