Just when you think the greenwhacks can't get nuttier and more shameless...

Oh no. A fog shortage in California. I suggest we implement a new tax on gasoline, alcohol, fast food, and cigarettes, and use the money to import fog from England. Save the trees!

Aw, relax...in a year's time they'll be saying that an increase in fog is killing the redwoods.

I need a drink...is alcohol good for us or bad for us this month?

That article was a joke, right? Please tell me that it was a joke.

The most refreshing thing about that article is that the comments section isn't overrun with tree-hugging-gorebots. As Cobb said, the swastika has been blown off of the Reichstag on AGW.

In a semi-rational world, they would suggest using huge fans to blow the fog away but fans are so ugly and nude Berkleyites are so cute, that they can use handheld recycleable palm fronds waved by the no fog no bombs group lead by the flapping breasts woman.

The behavior of fog has been difficult to capture with computer climate models, but a recent modeling study suggested global warming would lead to a foggier coastline.

That seems to suggest that global warming is actually beneficial to redwoods. Too bad for them there isn't any.

"The behavior of fog has been difficult to capture with computer climate models".

Good thing the climate models are magically better at modeling the behavior of an almost infinitely more complex global climate.

Idiots.

What I want to know, is how they gather data on how much fog there is day to day. I can just see some grad student from the Environmental Studies department at Berkeley, or Humboldt driving up to hang out at the Arcata Starbucks, and asking the local stoners if they've seen much change in the fog lately. "Aww man you know it's like totally less foggy than back in '68. Back then it was, you know- like totally foggier, man... Better acid then, too now that I think of it."

Remember; Our hard-earned tax money is keeping them neck deep in drums and bongs.

Now THAT'S funny!
