A Family in Time

Diego has aged rather well, I think.

Too bad two of those boys looked their mother.

Funny about this though. Last night my d-i-l was looking for a scarf and she found a stack of old Patriot Passes I had saved, about 15 years worth from way way back. As she went through them, she kept saying, "I can't believe this was you!" I was thinking, don't let her find the stack of old driver's licenses and military ID cards or it will really blow her mind. Some of the ID cards go back to the late '60s and are gawd awful.

Actually, I think Suzy has aged well, although that 2007 picture is a bit of a mess.

I do admire the foresight of the family to keep such a consistent record of the changes we all go through in life. This is really fascinating to see such gradual changes as a historical record.

I wonder why the hair in the pictures seems to drift from left to right over time?

Hair cuts cheap, but very important.

Diego Goldberg, mixed metaphor.

Most guys have had beards at some point; most of us at some point think, "What was I thinking?" and shave the fucking thing off. Not Diego!
