You know, what really kills me about all of this is that if this thing manages to get past all of the roadblocks the Republicans throw in its way, the the Republicans will have been given de facto permission to "govern" the same way, and because, ultimately, a politician is a politician is a politician, the Republicans will do things no differently when they have their first opportunity than the Democrats are doing right now.

In case you have not noticed those "reliable voting machines" have been self deporting over the last year. Why? The only reason many of them are here is to make enough money to send back home. They did not come here for "freedom"-they came here for the money. The vast majority of them did not come here to be welfare queens and kings.

The jobs these people do, "the ones Americans won't do" according to the propaganda, have dried up. People can't buy houses nor afford to remodel their existing ones so the construction jobs have dried up. People are doing their own landscaping and lawn care because they can't afford to pay someone else to do it so those jobs are gone, too. The other ones will soon go because people here are going to be so broke with the 15-25% tax hikes that we will all soon be seeing that businesses all over are going to start to fold up.

Combine that with the increasing job prospects in the countries they left because even China is now outsourcing some industries along with the stampede of industry out of the US and the the soon to be increasing resentment against illegal immigration and many of these illegals will read the handwriting on the wall and leave while they can.

I know this to be true. Where I live 5 years ago you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting an illegal immigrant. Now you can-there are no more crowds of them gathered in various places looking for day work, alot of the maid service, construction and landscaping businesses that hired them are out of business and even at the fast food restaurants I am beginning to see more native English speakers then Spanish speakers.

FWIW, that spoken part at the end ("Bedsitter people look back and lament, another day's useless energy spent...") is called "Late Lament." That would seem to be appropriate.

I am against abortion. However, it seems that certain abortions would have done the world good. Consider Mrs. Hitler. Or Mrs. Stalin. Mrs Castro and Mrs. Pot would have also been helpful.
