Why So Socialist?

With just 10% of what the Mulatto Mendacity made last year I would sail off forever and never have contact with this government again. It's not easy to go Galt with no money.

Never came across the "go Galt" expression before Eric; but as usual Google explained all. Thanks for yet another Americanism in the tool-bag. Wonderful thing, the intertoobs.

It's not a surprise, of course.

I don't believe it was a slip-up or an off-prompter gaffe. It was a totally calculated ploy of re-direct. He says crap like that for his kool-aid brigade to lap up, and for the Right to howl about.

Meanwhile, he's gutting our national security as fast as he can manage. He's buying up land out West. He's doing a thousand other things while the Right sputters and gasps at some audacious new spew from the Magic One.

He misinforms the Press Corpse and runs off to a secret rendezvous with Vera Baker. He's good at this game of creating distraction and smoke and mirrors while he keeps doing exactly what he wants.

At a certain point, you've made enough laws.

Eric:

When/if I can finally afford to go Galt, I'll be sailing off at the helm of the good ship "Industry"...That way I will be a captain of Industry.

A real shame Gates, Ford, and Edison didn't walk after they'd made enough for two homes, four cars, two maids and a chauffer. That's enough. Stop doing what you do well. I get it.

I feel like I have the boot of this government standing on my throat.

We'll see about "environmental catastrophe." I'm waiting to see how they handle "Obama on the Beach" commanding the tide. Do you think we'll get a picture of him at the window of Air Force One surveying the scene from high above?

Humm, probably not. I'm thinking waders and a shot of him washing oil off a duck's back.

...Then quickly motorcading off for another 18 holes.

Obama doing manual labor? Gettiing his hands dirty? NEVER HAPPEN! As to 'made enough' money; with uncle vampire in existence, you need to acquire immense ammounts of money to retain enough money..

Not everyone wants to live the smaller and more diminished life .

"Imaginary boot on throat".

Imagine my surprise when I found that a small portion of my then-portfolio had some Chrysler bonds in them.

Oh, and I'll be a criminal in 2012 or 14 or whenever The One's socialized healthcare kicks off... because it will be a CRIMINAL ACT not to buy the product the STATE mandates.

I did those caps just for you, Art.

I'm all done now.

There are internet gadflys who are like flashers. They can't stop themselves, but they don't have much to show.

"At a certain point you've made enough money"

Any decent Chicago mugger who claims to be "transparent" would continue this thieving wobbly rant with: "AND SO I'M GOING TO STEAL IT FROM YOU".
