Obama's Birthday? "How do it know?"

Wait...his mother's name is "Stanley?"

Prophets are not much for friends, families, or histories, or they couldn't be prophets.

Oh, goody, goody, more conspiracy fodder.

Not that I mind. I'm pretty sure the GSA explanation is probably true, but I'm fine with lots of people believing this explanation was manufactured to cover up Mommy's secret nepharious doings.

I just want Junior gone from the White House, and any and all stuff, real and imaginary, which will help make him gone is fine with me.

Boy are the lyrics fraught with much too much meaning.

The Platters are class; Obama is trash.
Blacks have tumbled far in the past fifty years.

"Wait...his mother's name is 'Stanley?'"

Of course, with a history with Rev. Wright's Black-Liberation-Theology, the domestic-terrorist William Ayers, and the communist Frank Marshall Davis, among others, all on his own, it is easy to see that Zero is a certified Marxist.

But I think his mother has been given far too little scrutiny.

When the Dunhams named their only daughter after her father "Stanley"--because they'd wanted a son--I don't think it's a stretch to believe that they burdened that girl unnecessarily.

And when she went off to the University of Kansas, she violated just about every American taboo of the early Sixties. [For frame of reference, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner didn't come out until 1967.] She got pregnant--Taboo #1. By a black man--#2. An African--#3. And a communist--#4. And she married him. Unknown to her, it turned out that he had another wife and child back in Africa. So she divorced him and met and married an Indonesian Muslim--#5. I could go on, but you get the idea.

Stanley Ann Dunham rejected just about every standard that 1960's America put in front of her. She went out of her way to marry men who were completely different from the American standard.

It is no wonder that we have an American President who has such a hard time with being an American.

I suppose that's one thing we'll only ever be able to speculate; to what degree did Stanley Ann reject being American?

Love this post :) thanks for The Platters tune!

Regarding the "bamboozling." Our mutual friend Andy had some good points to make at my place about whether this should be interpreted the way NN said. I was favorably impressed by his logic, although I ultimately came down on Neo's side. Interesting discussion.
