Nice work you old dog. I still owe you a burger at Fat Smitty's if you ever get out this way.

Posted by westsoundmodern at August 16, 2010 9:20 PM

Oh, score!

Posted by Mumblix Grumph at August 16, 2010 10:54 PM

Gobsmacked: taken unawares or suddenly and feeling wonder or astonishment.

I've never had occasion to use that word but now I use it because it perfectly describes my feelings.

I would wish you good luck but a man with your talent doesn't need it. Bravo, my good man, simply bravo.

Posted by viktor silo at August 16, 2010 10:59 PM

Ditto everyone else!!!

Don't forget some of us ol' retirees will work cheap.

One disturbing thought, Gerard: this doesn't mean AD becomes defunct does it? Couldn't live through that cold turkey, even with the distraction of the new wheeze. The confinements of editorial responsibility must not be allowed to dilute the power of your front line wit and coruscation. Eh?

Yeah, what they said, plus...

Ring the Bell, open the Book, & light the Candle: ZAP!
.

Posted by Robert at August 17, 2010 10:18 AM

I hope the opening words at RN will be: It is the best of times, it is the worst of times, because, that would be timely.

Posted by Jewel at August 17, 2010 10:28 AM

Yes, always, arthurstone.
Forever and ever, in the Aquarian utopia.
Hey, at least you've got Boy George on your side...

Posted by Uncle Jefe at August 17, 2010 10:41 AM

"Our side will always have better music"
Spoken like Salieri to Mozart.

I'm surprised that a post modernist like yourself Arthur would employ a word such as "better" in this context. It is all perception is it not?

Posted by westsoundmodern at August 17, 2010 12:28 PM

A world ruled by the opinions of musicians would soon have no musicians. That catch comes well before #22.

Posted by james wilson at August 17, 2010 12:35 PM

Godspeed to you!

Posted by Maureen at August 17, 2010 12:46 PM

AN-TI-CI-PA-TION!

Like the catsup flowing slowly from the bottle, I find it difficult to wait.

But wait I shall, and know RIGHT will be better than it has promised!

Posted by rickl at August 17, 2010 4:59 PM

the only thing i can imagine that would be better than this gig is if in 2013 you become President Palin's Press Secretary!

Posted by reliapundit at August 17, 2010 5:58 PM

Superb. Congrats. Your ability to put together fast and entertaining montages, sequences and topics, topped of with wit and wisdom has amazed me for years. I will be following closely, here and there.

Posted by GW at August 17, 2010 8:57 PM

Gerald,

You would have to let us know if we have to call our service providers for it. Hopefully Comcast will carry it from day one.

Comcast has thrown on my TV all the channels I don't want, so having something I want for a change is worth inquiring about. (I have wanted to obtain one channel in Spanish, but they told me I have to get the entire Spanish language package! I don't want the channels from Mexico and Colombia! I just want one little channel from Puerto Rico!!! You do understand my frustration...)

Can't wait! It'll become my guilty pleasure... Yipee!!!

Posted by newton at August 17, 2010 9:22 PM

This channel won't help Obama voters in their pursuit of 'The New American Dream': to eat until you're disabled and then have the government buy you an electric scooter so you can get more food.

Posted by Philanthropist at August 18, 2010 2:43 AM

Looks compelling. I hope it takes off in a big way. I'll definitely tune in and spread the word.

Posted by Kerry at August 18, 2010 5:11 AM

Don't have a tv...but Cool!

Posted by Candy at August 18, 2010 2:26 PM

I hope that the Right Network Nightly News will be sponsored by Sham-Wow. Heh.

Posted by Jewel at August 18, 2010 4:11 PM

Congratulations! It looks like it will be great fun.

Starting on my birthday, it will be an extra gift.
