Why is the President entertaining such a non-diverse group?

It looks like an albino convention in there.

not one of these millionaires needed a govt subsidy to make it.

the idea that the federal government must subsidize new technology - even green technology - for it to happen is pure stupidity.

and leads to corruption and inefficiency.

Where is Fletcher Christian to explain the necessity of this meeting?

This may not quite qualify as a "conspiracy," but still, by endorsing, aiding and abetting heavy government intrusion into the economy, the people around this table can ensure that potential competitors are handicapped into irrelevance and impotence.

The people raising their glasses don't want their own spectacular success to be repeated by anyone else ever again.

It's all about creating jobs.

Somewhere else.

I'm looking at my smiling boss as he sits across from Obama and wondering why on earth The One would be asking these CEOs about job creation. They've been sending jobs over to every third world cesspool over the last decade because it's cheaper and the customers can just go to hell because they have near monopolies on their individual slices of technology.

If Obama wants to learn about creating jobs in America, he needs to go find some CEOs who have actually been creating jobs in America over the last couple of years. Assuming he can find any, of course.
