Hee-Haw

Were you ever able to laugh about it?

Damn, I wish you'da signed the release. It could have been on Youtube!

I realize this has traumatic implications and all (and despite the dark tone of this post,) but that's funnier than hell.

Go tell that to a bunch of musicians, and see if I'm not right. Classic.

No donkeys were harmed in the telling of this story. Or so we hope!

And what about the Biblical motifs here, eh?

Entertaining God's messengers unawares (get your butt back and be reconciled with each other)...or being reminded, seeing that donkey of Someone who loves us and told us to love those who treat us hatefully.

A wonderful post. I think priests should use it in their premarital counseling...

The argument is never about what the argument is about.

"The only argument you can win with your wife is the one you don't have, for even if you win, you *lose*."

I can say I sort of know someone who was involved with Candid Camera at least. Some of their gags were just lousy, like this one. And I always wondered how many they caught that were just enraged.

Ha - I could tell you were destined to find some kind of bizarre situation in the room, but no way did I anticipate that one!

Candid Camera and pranks like this always have seemed slightly sadistic to me.

I surprised no one suggested the obvious...

Open door, pause..."Christ! This town has what has to be the ugliest hookers in the state!".

Open door, pause, smile..."Honey! I'm home!".

Open door, pause..."I ordered a monkey!".

Open door, pause..."Damn Democrats are everywhere in this state!".

Of course, as you said, you probably weren't in the right mood.
