Perhaps the first thing to make tyranny a reality is loss of faith in the true God -both by the tyrants and by their oppressed masses - who wonder how this happened to them as they naively put all their faith in falen man and the state to do what is right.

Have we noticed that the requirements for President now seem to be simply a matter of who is the best deceiver, and who will tell us the lies we wish to hear?

Where are the cries for honesty above all -character,decency, visible moral strength, a person of conscience,humble but courageous, God-fearing?

We don't even admire those necessary traits in a leader - we don't demand them of ourselves.

Without those qualities a nation is hollow and doomed to corrupt and die. We are mostly there.

Well slap me silly. Looks like all the principles are applicable in this country as I write this.

So, who has the balls to do anything about it? Ms. Jewel is on to something. Call it a Civil War against government. Call it a Revolution. Call it anything you want, but it "ain't gonna be purdy."

And you can damn sure know that "they" will not throw the first physical punch in any overt way. Bruce Catton in one of his histories on the Civil War had a throw-away line that has implications here. To paraphrase, he said that like all other civil wars, ours started with government soldiers killing civilians.

I have been keeping up with the coverage of Cpl Jose Guerena, USMC and am as outraged about reading about it just as I was when I read about Ruby Ridge and Waco, and many more instances like the recent one in Arizona which sometimes does not get national media coverage, but just occasional blurbs here and there. Yes sir, I have been keeping up with our government using force against citizens.

Let's just say this ole gal ain't ready to submit to illegal powers used against the people who pay these SOB's with taxes paid by the citizens. Let's just say I go by the old "never again" statement.

- Divest yourself from dependence on their bread and circuses...There is always a catch.
- Buy American quality whenever possible.
- Prepare physically and spiritually.
- Do not support their supporters.
- Don't fall for their attempts to isolate and demoralize you. Be happy.
