Ann Barnhardt: "I know exactly what Donald Trump is doing and why "

Very plausible, in my mind. Trump has always struck me as the least quixotic of men -- he wouldn't have played the Birther card if there wasn't some major, tangible benefit to himself in doing so.

This is far more plausible than Jooz flying planes into the twin towers that were detonated by the Bush administration, who stole the airplane with all those people on it that didn't strike the Pentagon because everyone knows that it was a missile that did it, because the people on flight 93 really didn't try to stop the hijackers, the FBI even said so. So it must be true.

Of course there's no way for me to know the truth of the matter.

I will say that this is the first plausible thing I've seen advanced. It answers the question "Where's the money?", which previous theories did not. Being President is lots of responsibility and very little money by Trump standards, and I for one never believed he was serious about wanting the office -- but pretending to run a campaign gives excuses for all kinds of things.

Ric

Addendum: wouldn't it be seriously cool if Chicago, which got where it is starting with numbers running and Prohibition, got cleaned up by a guy who wanted to run a straight casino?

I am not buying. I do not think that the Chicago Combine cares what Trump can or will do to BO. That is all Washington Stuff and it makes no difference to them.

It most definitely is plausible. Say what you will about Ann, she has a very keen mind for abstract concepts, which is why she can so easily put her finger on the crux of a matter.

"Trump has enough blackmail material on Obama to keep himself in a position of firm dominance over the Chicago Marxist Syndicate."

Bingo.

Nice catch, Ann.

"Trump has enough blackmail material on Obama...".

Stanley Kurtz has more dope on the Dope than anyone - it's all there in "Radical in Chief" - but Obama is 'historic'; nobody cares.

I don't know that I think Trump is such a sharp-minded genius that he calculates the effect of his every utterance, such that his Birther rhetoric can be directly factored into this...

But I do think that Trump's primary motivation in life is "Building the Brand", which incidentally also feeds his own ego. This specific focus for his latest brand-building escapade seems plausible.

Washington stuff maybe, but Rahmbo just came from there and has the smell on him, has the blood, the DNA from many of the Bamster's miscues.

A toy poodle could follow that trail; Trump is no toy poodle.

Annie is a successful commodities trader. That means that she's smart, and has contacts in the trading pits around the country. And what we know about traders is they trade.

A little tidbit of information gleaned in conversations - innocuous in anyone else's hands - could provide the clue to cracking the Davinci code (a dreadful book) to Sherlock Barnhart.

I for one hope she's right for any number of reasons, including the fact that it would probably kill the last surving industry in Detroit: gaming. Then we can officially level everything and start over.

If Rahm Emmanuel taking to the pages of the Washington Post to throw Israel under the bus for Teh Won is any indication, I'd say Ann's prediction is looking pretty good...
