Time to bring in the Apache attack helicopters to remind the Mexicans to mind their manners

Speaking of ill-mannered Mexicans, here is still another example of arrogant Central and South American nations pressuring the United States to not enforce immigration law:

"More than a dozen Latin American countries have filed legal briefs in federal court arguing Utah’s enforcement-only immigration law will damage international relationships and urging the judge to rule it unconstitutional... In the brief, attorney Lon A. Jenkins makes the case that “Mexico has a right to protect the interests of its nationals within the limits of international law. Mexico seeks to ensure that its citizens present in the U.S. are accorded the human and civil rights granted under the U.S. Constitution and affirms that HB497 threatens the human and civil rights of its nationals."

I'd like to ask these pricks when they plan to stop the much more draconian enforcement of their own immigration laws.

Have you changed your blog programming?

Sorry, but nothing has changed here in quite some time when it comes to blog programming.

This is the same policy we've been trying to enforce on the Israelis. The Overwhelming Response method of fighting is now outlawed. Except in Libya and now Yemen.

Then maybe it's Firefox. Some of my friends have been complaining lately about all sorts of problems with it.

PST314, I'm running Firefox 4.01, and have no problem posting comments. Maybe update your browser?

I've never been particularly enamored of other nations telling us how our own laws should be enforced. I feel that especially acutely, since I live overseas have to take extra care to follow the local laws in my country of residence. Here, regardless of facts, the foreigner is almost always at fault in any sort of legal dispute, criminal or civil. When the U.S. or other Western countries asks for fair treatment of their citizens, there is immediate denunciation in the press of this supposed "interference" and "neo-colonialism" with regard to the local legal system. So Mexico can kiss my lily-white gringo a$$.

Don't expect the Federal Government to do anything worthwhile on the border, except possibly send weapons and/or aid south of the border. They have a score to settle against red border states. The only way to solve this is to repeal and replace all blue representation in DC. Period. As if our lives depend on it. And our lives do depend on it.

If you are having trouble with FF you probably using FF 4.0 which is horrible. Save your bookmarks and passwords to a word doc. then download FF4.0.1 and install. If that doesn't work you can still get a download of FF 3.6.17 through the FF site pages. Load that and then update to 4.0.1. All bookmarks and saved passwords should carry over and install.

The change drove me nuts when it first came out.
