So it took them 26 years--26 freakin' years!-- to establish that freebasing cocaine will cause addictive, agitated behavior in monkeys? Why so long? Were the researchers taking hits on the pipe at the same time? And intervention in primates is important...why? The only monkeys that should ever have needed "intervention" were those in the studies. Just how much of our tax dollars went down this particular toilet?
