Something Wonderful: Mila Kunis Says Yes to Marine in Afghanistan

Good on Mila. It will give her a completely different take on men than the Hollywood Nancy Boys she is used to.

That's actually pretty cool.

A classy gal.

Now I'm really jealous of this dude.

I have to call this dude out. You. Me. Two sporks and a truckload of tapioca pudding cups. At dawn.

Winner takes all, including the Maalox, Mylanta and Gas-X.

She should consider it an honor.

It's amusing that Justin Timberlake put away his gay hat and put back on his "fannish" and "man" hats for this one. He found out about it, he urged Kunis to accept the date.

So maybe it's true that all men want to be Marines and all women want to date one.... :)

Dang this is cool! I hope it doesn't turn into a paparazzi-fest.

Ugh, the poor gal was ambushed. Camp Lejeune is in the sticks. We had a ball in 1988 at the 1st FSSG. Robert Conrad came down as the guest of honor. He was at his height of popularity as Pappy Boyington on TV. He did a great job roasting General Sniffen and his wife, and it truly was a memorable event, as I'm sure Mila's attendance will be. Sniffen was a sharp old cat. A couple months before the ball, he gathered all the officers and SNCO's together just to gather a consensus of what kind of ball we were going to have. Were we going to do the same old thing on the cheap, or did we want to have a blowout? While there were plenty of cheapskates in attendance, nobody had the balls to vote that way. We took the ball down the street to the brand new Hyatt in Lajolla, and I bought my then wife a $600 dress at Nordstroms. That was an extravagance for a young Captain. It was the best ball that I ever went to.

A word of advice for Mila. Hire a few writers, but remember that her just showing up will make it a lifetime memory for everyone else, and probably for her too.

Way to go, Meg Griffin! This will make up for your disgraceful, depraved Dad, Peter.

I hope Mila's more than just a pretty face. The young Marine deserves a memorable experience.

As a young Ensign I scored a date for a military ball with a beauty queen. Worst.Date.Ever. She was very easy on the eyes. To talk with - not so much.

They will have the best time! She'll be glad she accepted...especially if he's got a deep chest and thick upper arms...and that buzz cut...wait, sorry, did I say that? I didn't mean it like that...
