Happy Unbirthday, Gerard!
I'm not exactly sure when or how I discovered your site, but I began reading blogs in the wake of 9/11. Among the earliest ones I remember reading were Rachel Lucas, Eject!Eject!Eject!, USS Clueless, A Small Victory, IMAO, and (sigh) Little Green Footballs. Somewhere along the line I followed a link to your place, and here I am.
