Bush on 9/11: The Real Story

Despite the horror of that day, I'm grateful I got to see genuine leadership. My heart aches for our country today.

A challenge to America...

I have a LOT of reservations about Mr. Bush's political and economic policies.

But it might have been Gore.

Give thanks for grace when you get a heaping shovel full of it, I always say.

I knew that's why he did it. I used to get into arguments with people who would say "I don't understaaaand! He's just sitting there! What, why isn't he jumping up and telling people what to do! That must mean he's really a moron!" No you dickless idiots, he didn't want to freak out the kids in the classroom. Because making kids wet their pants and cry because the adults are panicking would have helped the situation not at all. Sometimes things really are that simple.

"Bush explains slow reaction to September 11 attacks"

Slow? Howza'bout "Bush explains his reaction to September 11 attacks"

The look on his face says consternation and deliberate building anger.... which is probably exactly what I wish I could have portrayed in that moment.... My thoughts shortly after I heard the news was "Where are the sunzabitches who did that, and how soon can we kill them!

George W Bush was a far better Leader than I would ever have been in that situation.....

...and I ache for his Leadership, over the cretinous cowardly poser acting as figurehead in our country today. The contrast in Leadership capabilities could not be starker or more opposite than we have today.

He's an idiot for"just SITTING there (! Why oh why is he JUST SITTING THERE!!)"

IDIOTS.

One can only imagine their reaction if he HAD jumped up and started barking orders (Why did he have to SCARE THE CHILDREN! WHY OH WHY....)

Yup.

IDIOTS.

There are plenty of reasons to dislike Dubya. I've harped on most of them at one point or another.

But STUPID isn't on the list, nor is venal, selfish or crooked.

Our current _resident is all-of-the-above.

Bill Whittle did a SPECTACULAR essay on the topic of Bush's supposed stupidity - I can't recommend it strongly enough!

How can these people watch their mulatto-messiah stammer & grunt whenever the teleprompter's broken and still talk about Bush's supposed stupidity?!

Meh...

"Daddy, what did you and mommy do after Sept 11? Son, your mom and I worked every minute battling the evil people that emit excess carbon."

Son, your mom and I worked every minute battling the stupid President who had done nothing to prevent this in the 7.9 months he had been in office, and making sure that the President for the last 8 years and dozens of terrorist attacks who had made sure that the FBI and CIA could not combine their intelligence data was not unfairly criticized."

Fixed it for ya.
