Remarks That Make It Impossible for Me to Type "Oh, go fuck yourself with an atom bomb" Quickly Enough

I was watching and found myself staggered by the condescension and barely-veiled contempt in her voice as she dressed down her fellow panelist.

And this is what passes for the wisdom of the elite Washington press corps.

Appalling.

She needs to take a flying f-ck.

This is one of the reasons I no longer have cable or watch TV.

I was going to click on the video, but after hearing how angry you all are I decided it might be bad for my blood pressure.

Cokie is the daughter of former Democrat U.S. Senators from New Orleans, Hale and Lindy Boggs. She is a blue-diaper Democrat spawned from one of the most corrupt Democrat machines in America. One of my college roommates dated her, escorting her to The Krewe of Rex Ball; he wasn't taken with her either. Married three times, it's doubtful an additional penis, even an atomic one, could penetrate with satisfaction.

Cokie fears the mob.

That is Cokie "The Razor" Roberts, who used to tag team with Nina "The Assassin" Totenberg, back when they invented Borking.

If you watch TV you deserve to be insulted and misled. Stop complaining the restaurant is serving bad food for 40 years, become your own chef.

But, Gerard...

She is the child of royalty - minor royalty of our elites, but royalty, none the less. And there has been tragedy in her past. Her own mother had to step up and, well, you know the story. Poor dear.

Take your medicine from your betters, and don't be that way.

Now run along.

When someone on one of these shows decides to reach over and backhand, I mean busted lip bloody nose, a bitch (male or female), I will feel my service was worth it all.

At first I believed she was defending the Constitution and its empowerment against European-style systems, especially in the context that S&P
did indeed desire Congress raise the debt ceiling. I think everyone might actually be in agreement on that. But Will's response is numbers: "Divided government compels compromises that curb each party's excesses, especially both parties' proclivities for excessive spending when unconstrained by an institution controlled by the other party. William Niskanen, chairman of the libertarian Cato Institute, notes that in the past 50 years, 'government spending has increased an average of only 1.73 percent annually during periods of divided government. This number more than triples, to 5.26 percent, for periods of unified government.' If we weren't already tipping too far to the left, I could go along with this notion. But even Will doesn't take it far enough. What America needs and has needed for a long time is The Tea Party Treatment. Euro-loving S&P can go fuck itself. And, btw, on the flip side, I've heard this same argument used by a ousted Establishment-Repub incumbent to undermine the Tea Party's authenticity - claiming it was European-style politics. Smaller government is European? Since when? But it made him feel better as he licked his wounds.

Ah, the song remains the same. It's still that old Wilsonian tune that the enlightened public sector bureaucracy steers the ship of state toward the great "will of the people" as it "progresses" to the perfect administrative state. The Founders and their already out of date (late 19th century) Declaration of Independence and Constitution must be put aside in order to respond to a "pre-existing, divinely-inspired revolutionary plan [which] was seeking its fulfillment, and was destined to triumph in the fullness of time." The USG is the laboratory, and we are the rats.
