Something Really Wonderful: The Adventures of a Cardboard Box

My favorite toy as a kid was an empty cereal box with a toilet paper tube taped to the front, which I called my spy camera.

I hope I get a box like the boy had for Christmas. It would probably have a vacuum cleaner in it, though, which means that I'd have to vacuum something. Uggh. Or dishes, which means I get stuck washing them. I'll have to delegate. But I get the box.

Seems like the older I get the smaller and more expensive the boxes get. Which is good, too. Especially if there are electronic thingies involved with the small boxes.

I hope the sweet baby James likes the box I get him. Today he climbed 2 stairs. Yesterday, he couldn't even climb one. He will definitely need a box in order to ride down the stairs proper.

Agree with you Jewel. My sweet grandson lil' G turned 1 on Thursday...I gave him boxes inside boxes.

When invited for lunch during the summer between Kindergarten and 1st grade, the teacher proclaimed me one of the best mothers ever....simply because I let my son sleep in the box his older sister's stereo came in.
