Something Wonderful: Dream Rangers -- "One is always nearer by not keeping still."

That's a good one. Yeah, that's why I ride; and I won't stop riding. I commute 70 miles round trip to work through the most gorgeous scenery in New Mexico, and thus, The World.

If I don't ride 'cuz of errands I need a truck for, I feel physically and mentally ill. I am diminished until I ride again. Those ol' boys knew what was good for 'em.

Gray-
Whereabouts in NM? When I owned the Hog I did a whole lot of travel. To me, one of the best rides on the continent was up 666 from Gallup through Shiprock, and on to Farmington, and then 64 East through Taos.
I heard they renamed 666.
Wouldn't you know.

I live between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. I grew up there, though I was gone for quite a while....

The commute home up I-25 and then down my road is stunning and never fails to cheer me, even though I grew up there. I will continue to do it when I am as old as those hearty Taiwanese Gentlemen!

Oh yeah, go for it. The best part of retirement is time to ride. It helps to spend the idiot kids inheritance too.

I sent this video to my step-dad when he turned 90 last year. He was still using his golf clubs
and bowling with the coed blue-hair league once a week.

He lived every day of his life until he passed last October. Hang in there, babe -- it ain't over til it's over.
