Now I'M depressed.

Wow. That song by the 5th Dementian is so, like totally white. I was diversitively disoriented for a moment.

I don't know about Barry but I'm depressed as hell.

Jewel, That was a pretty saccharine song by the Fifth Dimension, but some of their stuff was classic ("One Less Bell to Answer", "Wedding Bell Blues","Ashes to Ashes", "Stone Soul Picnic")

Marilyn McCoo. Sigh. To this day, if I could sing and sound like someone else, it would be Marilyn McCoo.

Posted by Deborah at September 14, 2011 7:49 AM

Deborah, Marilyn McCoo is truly a beautiful woman who still sings like a bird and is still married to bandmate Billy Davis Jr.

Oh, I know, bill. I was just riffing off the band's name, given the topic of manic depression.

What exactly do you mean by "take out"?

Posted by Secret Service at September 14, 2011 10:14 AM

Whatever you want it to mean.

He just can't believe his kooky white mama lied to him about how average he actually is. No wonder he hates white people.

Let's see, the grandmother was reputedly an obscene harpy. The mother sent him away as a child. Then he married a hateful female lawyer from the South Side of Chicago. The lack of maternal instinct/warmth in the man's life is shocking. Maybe he is a goat-blower.
