We see that you can fool 41% of the people all the time(but they were already fools), and it is a simple matter for a skilled demagogue to find himself ten or twenty points from the other crowds. It is little wonder that Republican politicians are afraid of even thinking intelligently.

As a man said so very well, it's not that they don't have the answers, it's that they don't have the questions.

I heard it as follows: You can fool all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, and that's enough to make a decent living.
