Skill Sets of the Hardcore Unemployed

"Sharief Zakher?" Doesn't sound that white to me.

The OWS in DC have been given a four month extension on their permission to stink up Freedom Plaza and Lafayette Park. Four. Frikkin'. Months.

Heaven help downtown DC; but then they deserve to have this insolent vermin festering in their tents right under their noses, jamming the Starbucks restrooms, and perhaps, occasionally, defecating on a Federal Protective Service vehicle as an act of defiance, or something, don't they?

It isn't just you, Gerard. And I think this wins for funniest line of the year:

"I try to become more cynical everyday, but lately I just can't keep up."

I rode in two huge bicycling events in Los Angeles this past weekend. Both rides passed right by all the "occupy" morons, and afforded me the opportunity to insult and ridicule a few of them face to face. Cheap thrills, I know, but hey- ya' gotta' have some fun some time.

Wait a darned second! As a kid summering in the Ozarks of Arkansas, tucked away on an old dirt road, near the rickety wooden bridge that ran over a "crik" we young uns would fly June bugs too, and catch fireflies and put them in jars. Nature gave us great toys!

We also used outhouses there, a modern amenity the occupiers don't seem to bother with, I hear.
