The Littlest Ice Age: Europeans Beg for the Return of "Global Warming"

As the story says, there is no change in temperature. Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, we forgot winter. Always when the weather is unseasonable here, the jet steam has taken a left and deposited the opposite weather in another latitude to the continental east.

Good to place their own cattle prod up the warmer's ass, though.

Yet onward the warmists plod, frittering away scarce taxes to prop up their energy boondoggles.

It never ceases to amaze me how Greenies can rationalize covering protected lands they fought tooth & nail to protect with acres of solar panels/windmills, access roads, power lines/towers and junkyards, killing hundreds if not thousands of protected, endangered raptors annually, yet take to their fainting couches should a single recreational vehicle tire touch the same ground.

Asshats. The time for honoring themselves will soon be at an end.

I hope only the young freeze to death over there so at least we can have a bit of evolution in action.

Yes, I know Schadenfreude is a sin. I'll repent. Soon. Tomorrow, maybe.

Yep, a few years of that is going to make them wish there was warming.

Winter has also been missing in my part of Pennsylvania. There's only been one 2" snowfall, and the temperatures have mostly been in the 40s during the day. It got over 60ยบ two or three times in the past couple of weeks.

We have had heavy winters as recently as last year, and we got an early snow in October, too, rickl.

The consensus among regular folks in those areas with very mild winter weather is that they really like it (except for ski resorts). Many of those same people probably believe(d) the AGW stuff, and how scary it was; and yet, there they are, wearing early Fall clothing in February, and liking it. If there actually has been a warming trend, it is most likely that it will be largely celebrated by those who are rational.

According to one recent study, the warming trend has been going on for 200 years. If so, humans are not the cause. And that's another thing: the original starting point of this so-called trend has been all over the map as far as the warmist narrative goes; they can't seem to decide when this all supposedly started. Typically, though, the starting dates offered up are always too early for any warming trend to have been caused by human activity -- at least initially and for much of the timeline.

And now we have apparent proof from the warmist Mecca itself (East Anglia), that it hasn't warmed in 15 years. And how do these clowns respond to their own data? They're saying that human activity will make any possible Solar-generated cooling more bearable by keeping it warmer than it would have been otherwise! So NOW AGW is a GOOD thing? Mendacity has been pushed to a new level, and is starting to remind me of both the O.J. Simpson and Casey Anthony defense arguments. That in turn does not bode well for killing AGW: O.J. and Casey managed to persuade their respective juries.

If AGW is now a good thing, can we have our light bulbs back? How about our coal-fired power plants?

I've said from the very beginning that, since the climate is constantly changing, there are only two possibilities: A) it will get warmer, or B) it will get cooler. The one thing we can be absolutely certain about is that it will not stay the same as we have been used to.

By any standard, the vast majority of Earth's population will be better off in a warmer climate than a cooler one.
