Once in a great while Limbaugh says or does something that's pretty good. This parody is excellent.
Sorry to say his show has mainly become slightly different iterations of riffs he's done hundreds of times. He was pretty good pre-internet but has become boring and oh-so predictable.

99% of the time Rush is boring and repetitive. This was the other 1%.

My thought when I heard the actual ad was that Eastwood was more than halfway dead. He's barely breathing in this ad. He sounds like he's ready to pass out. I was not convinced after listening to it.

By the way: Eastwood can only wish he'd said the words contained in the parody.

Eastwood might not have meant to endorse BHO's bailouts, but if that's how most people perceive the message, then that's what he did.

Awesome, classic Limbaugh. Definitely on his way out. It's only a number 1 radio show that has ratings that any network would love a piece of. Yup, definitely past his prime.

Here's the news, Shutterbug. By virtue of being the host here I read every comment made on the site. I'd venture to say that there are a few but not a passle of "lefties" making the scene here. If you think otherwise you haven't been paying attention.

I thought that they were trying too hard to capture the buzz that the Eminem ad did last year. But when it came down to it, the Eminem ad was still about selling cars. The Eastwood ad was more about trying to sell good feelings. I don't remember even if a Chrysler car was shown at all.

I spoke to a couple of buddies Monday who had seen the ad, disliked it, but didn't realize it was a Chrysler commercial.

I've heard Bo since 1988. He was absolutely remarkable once, and that is the only standard by which I can judge him, unfortunately. He is not that performer anymore. Who is, at 60? And he's very happy with his life, which doesn't help.

It is amazing how loyal his fans are. Just the 25 minutes of commercials alone deal me out. Punishing.

I think Mr Eastwood got paid, probably well, to read a script. I am less certain that the ad trys to support the administration any more than it trys to wrap itsself in the flag to hide from bailout choices made by politicians, the union, and giant investment groups. The ads to follow may make things more clear.

I try to keep an open mind, but there is always the danger of my brains falling out.

As someone who admires Mr. Eastwood's talent and huge body of work, I would like to believe that he was played and honestly thought this ad was non-political. However that fails the "smell test".

Eastwood is an accomplished and extremely successful director and producer. It is beyond reason that a man of his skill and experience would not fully understand how that ad would be perceived by the vast majority of viewers. Eastwood is going for "plausible deniability", but it's just out of reach.

Because the left still doesn't understand that they are ruining the America we know and love. I hope they get it before it's too late and it becomes impossible to undo the damage they've done and will continue to do if left to their own devices.
