Something Wonderful: Beethoven's 5 Secrets

I love the wee bit o'Bach that came in at the beginning.
Classical music never dies, it just keeps improving. Not even the post-modern ugliness that has rotted the culture can suffocate the beauty of classical music. Like killing God. It can't be done.
The uglier the culture becomes, the more beautiful this music sounds.

Wonderful quote but it must be an urban legend. St. Benards don't talk that way.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

The quote contains very noble intentions. As a classical musician, however, the video is sickening and a demonstration of the lowest common denominator at work in classical music, i.e. the pursuit of fame and money. It's very pretty and not real below the surface.

It is very sad to think the people in this video are living for fame and money as the lowest common denominator. They got a classical education and are playing in classical orchestras, and they don't get money for doing videos like this one, but are dependant on their fans to donate money to them so that they can continue to make these videos.
