Is that a dude in there? Hard to tell, all things considered.
Apparently solidarity is a [somewhat] choreographed dance routine...In an ironically bourgeois form.
Who knew you could fight the system by chanting in unison.
This video demonstrates the complete failure of our high schools and universities to teach the concept of "corporation." What seems to be wrong is that the discipline of economics has been taken over by idiots and communists and no one is thinking about the various ways that concepts and practices about "money," "corporation," "stock," "bank," "insurance," etc. could be taught. Everyone has accepted a quite ahistorical and ideology-ridden notion that the only way to think of our way of life is to call it "capitalism" and contrast it to communism or socialism. But that way of thinking about how we live daily is boring and narrowly conceived.
A simple example of thinking a bit differently is to note that I am vice-president of a corporation; it's a non-profit corporation; it's a condominium. About 25% of north Americans are "share-holders" (owners of condos) in such corporations. Most do-good societies are also corporations; non-profit corporations. These eminently useful and good entities would be impossible in a society that outlawed corporations. If those people in charge of teaching economics and sociology would rethink how they view our daily lives in our society, they might think of using a different starting point to teach people about money and banking and corporations, etc., and maybe these young students would not parrot nonsense about capitalism.
Well, they sound hideous.
Ah, my favorite line in Zhivago. The rabble are marching through the streets singing their songs of solidarity, and a hush falls over the elegant restaurant where Komarovsky and Laura dine. One senses the palpable fear in the air, and Karamrovsky deflates the tension with his comment, "No doubt they will sing in tune AFTER the revolution."
I don't think Gagdad Bob had these womyn in mind when he was talking about raccoons. At least, I really hope not.
Obviously they are rabid raccoons.
