Something Wicked This Way Comes: 29/31 or The "Victory" of Feminism

Glad I found a real woman back in the day. These shrews are not very appealing.

I lasted 21 seconds. Which is about as much-

no. I'm not gonna' go no further.

That was sadly awesome!

Yes it was, Joan.

Posted by Jewel at May 30, 2012 6:42 PM

Oh my, I'm laughing so hard, my sides heart.

Posted by Sara at May 30, 2012 6:45 PM

Wait until there is a six as the first number, then there truly is nobody left.

Posted by Sara at May 30, 2012 6:47 PM

Bill, you're such a pill. The blonde is a real corker, but you'd better show up with ring.

Sara, some folks are working on their third or fourth spouse by the time the big 6-0 rolls around. Time's a wastin'.

Posted by Mike Anderson at May 30, 2012 7:12 PM

That was indeed awesome.

The girl on the right appeared in an episode of The Big Bang as Sheldon's wanna-be girlfriend.

I had wondered what part-time actors do when they're 'resting'.

I'm going to put this one up on my blog. I have several unmarried sisters-in-law, a couple of unmarried nieces about that age too. It will start a good fight at the next family get together.

JWM, give it another try. It was funny.

They also do one called "Pregnant Women Are Smug" that is even more hilariously bitter. The earlier we girls learn to laugh about our female condition the better.

Posted by RedCarolina at May 30, 2012 8:55 PM

That is hilarious.

Posted by rickl at May 30, 2012 9:15 PM

This is as funny as 'Hilah Cooking' on the Roku box.

Posted by Jewel at May 30, 2012 10:03 PM

Truth is the barb that hooks the laugh.

Posted by Casca at May 30, 2012 11:04 PM

That's the funniest God damned thing I've seen in years.

God I love girls.

Posted by Rob De Witt at May 30, 2012 11:49 PM

JWM, I watched it at 5:45 AM, so I got farther into it before my synapses starting firing. Jesus, that yowling was excruciating.

Posted by Peccable at May 31, 2012 2:58 AM

I thought it was incredibly sad. It's really not funny all. It makes me want to recite one of those ancient Jewish prayers thanking God He didn't make me female. Sorry ladies, don't mean to offend but I know well a few 31 year old unmarried women and it's a sad sight to behold.

Posted by I-RIGHT-I at May 31, 2012 3:13 AM

OK, I tried again. Made it to 1:20. Just for the record- I'm posting from the library. At 1:22 I shot the poor computer.

Mike, Pill or not, that ain't even appealing. I just was in DC and those girls are the norm;pseudo-hip,joined at the hip to every liberal shibboleth, self important and clueless.
I've been with a freakin' babe for thirty years and counting and they all pale in comparison.

Posted by bill at May 31, 2012 10:57 AM

The two of them aptly embody my second-born daughter to a tee.

Posted by Jewel at May 31, 2012 11:14 AM

That's hilarious.

@ Brett: "The girl on the right appeared in an episode of The Big Bang as Sheldon's wanna-be girlfriend." I was sure I knew her from somewhere. She was a redhead in that episode. Thanks for clearing that up. :)

Of course it's the norm, bud. That's why it's funny - and what's even funnier is that those pathetic chicks are now being held up to public ridicule.

Schadenfreude? Hell yes, it's schadenfreude. Any guy who's been subjected to the pitiful mewlings of "feminists" for the last 40+ years has the right to laugh his ass off at this. What makes it so devastating is that it's the younger girls who are so onto this, and see through the crap that put'em in the situation where they can't figure out whether to be a Powerful Woman or someone who's Deeply Fulfilled.

Imagine the response of 50-year-old Womyn to this...THAT'S NOT FUNNY!!!!!

Teehee.

Hmm, crowd-sourced acting classes. Instead of putting on a sketch in front of your anxious also-unemployed peers, watched over and critiqued by an inscrutable yoda, you put out videos to hone your craft, show your range, and get instant feedback and market approval from your customers. The studios and agents are being disintermediated.

Posted by John A. Fleming at May 31, 2012 3:51 PM

Look on the bright side(s): they aren't procreating. And "gendercide" is alive and well. and I'm sure there are current prayers thanking God when girls aren't born.

Posted by RedCarolina at May 31, 2012 5:46 PM

What's funny, Rob, is that the 50 year old womyn are polishing their bent coat hangers, getting them all ready for the next Pro-Choice rally...because abortion is the only thing that matters to these unmarried, bitter and barren womyn.

Posted by Jewel at May 31, 2012 7:13 PM

Wow, Karen Valentine from "Room 222!" Where have you been all these years?

Oh believe me, I know. And there's a world of thoughtful and intelligent men in their 60s who just gave up on 'em about 15 or 20 years ago, just going to waste on their own.

I know.

Posted by Rob De Witt at May 31, 2012 8:56 PM

Sure, it's funny -- the same way Tom Wolfe's I Am Charlotte Simmons was funny -- which is to say, if I didn't laugh I'd sob.
