Comments: Give Greece What It Deserves: Communism
unless you quake at the sight of soldiers marching around in white skirts.
And don't forget the pom-poms on their shoes :-)
To think that, with help from the Truman Doctrine, post-war Greece fought a successful and brutal war against a Communist insurgency. What a waste that has turned out to be. Maybe the Turks should take over again.

The soft-handed fatasses at Forbes need to read about the Greek Civil War (1946-1949) or study up on the Hellenic Forces in Korea before they spout off about "skirts" (they're kilts, actually) or pom-poms on shoes.
Greece going Communist will be about as funny as Greece in its' current condition.

If someone requests a 'lifestyle', give it to them.
There is nothing worse than getting what one asks for as a gift.

Not a bad idea, but it would just re-balkanize the Balkans, ala Tito et seq.
Absent a Great Wall of Greece, people will still vote with their feet.

Must we keep running the Communist experiment? East Germany v West Germany, North Korea v South Korea, Red China v Taiwan, USSR v any western democracy, Cuba v any democratic country. How many more times do we have to see the results to get the message? It.Does.Not.Work! However, if the Greeks don't get it.........it's just sad.
