More reasons to understand why there really are no good liberals, at least not enough to factor into the equation. No matter how many decades they've heard socialism fails, or leads to fascism, they refuse to notice. No matter how many countries approach bankruptcy, they refuse to notice. No matter how bad their policies hurt minorities, they refuse to notice. No matter how much crime comes from their policies, they refuse to notice. No matter how many times they are warned their foreign policy gives aid and comfort to those trying to destroy the country, they refuse to notice.
They don't think this country, or our way of life, are worth saving unless we adopt their dystopian ways and views. Yet, no matter what destruction they deploy for many Mayberry voters it doesn't warrant thinking of them as disease-carrying dangers. No, "they mean well." They are "my friend on the left." It is the failure of people on the right to understand our enemies, and then to act on that understanding, that causes the advance of The Left's agenda. We play our part in this decline, yet we won't face the truth. It's easier to pretend they did this to us.
The Left's view is AmeriKKKa is irredeemably evil until we volunteer to enslave ourselves to them. Your nice liberal friend on the PTA pretends they aren't helping to kill America, even as they support The Left. Your nice liberal friend on the PTA just doesn't think the possibility they are helping kill America is worth them looking at the evidence, and we don't make them face the issue. We try to convince each other why you don't raise taxes in a recession or why we need a strong military. The Left didn't take over by only talking to themselves. We can't save America by only talking to ourselves. Have you yelled at a liberal today?
