Comments: In a Mass Knife Fight to the Death Between Every American President, Who Would Win and Why?
George Washington and Andrew Jackson would probably be the last to face off. TR was a good scrapper, but that killer instinct was something those earlier two had in buckets.
All the others - they'd be watching and placing bets.

Oh, he's a scraper - he would bow and scrape to save his sorry ass.
What he is not is a "scrapper".

Washington was no killer. Jackson definitely was. Teddy would have taken a shiv in the back from Jimmy while he was busy sticking it to Taft. And it wouldn't surprise me if the last man standing for Jackson to stick would be Lyndon. That guy was a son-of-a-bitch.

Wasn't Jackson the guy who said; "I only regret that you have but one life to give..."?

No debate, Jackson wins:
"Andrew Jackson was the first president on whom an assassination attempt was made. A man named Richard Lawrence approached Jackson with two pistols both of which, for some reason, misfired. With the possibility of an assassination taken off the table, Jackson proceeded to beat Lawrence near death with his cane until Jackson's aides pulled him off the assassin."
