Comments: Nice Guys Finish Last Fucked Over

Republicans will keep playing by the other's side rules and losing until every single GOP voter has learned their lesson the hard way. It's as if every voter was warned a nearby well is poisoned, yet none believe it until every one of them has taken a mouthful and nearly died.

The GOP, GOP consultants, and media will always label one candidate as "the most electable" and that one candidate will be the one most easily defeated by The Left. When GOP primary voters seek to avoid a fight by selecting the "most electable candidate" they have chosen the path of least resistance for themselves and victory for The Left. We can't change things without a fight, an uncomfortable fight, and we may even have to fight people in our party, but until we fight we won't change direction. Anyone promising you a shortcut is playing you for a fool and we don't have time for each of you to try the same failed experiment over and over.

Pick a fighter, for we are most certainly in a fight. There is no candidate that checks off all the past-stated requirements that will win votes from The Left, or the Ruling Class, simply by having those resume' items. The rules will always be changed to put our choice just out of bounds for "reasonable people."

Republicans will keep playing by the other's side rules and losing...[]

Scott, the problem is they DON'T play by the Left's rules. Romney brought a chess set to an ultimate fighter match.

The GOP must realize that those telling them to 'make nice' and go along, are the Donkey voters. Who cares what they think, they'll never vote for the GOP.

You're right Peccable. I should have said the GOP keeps playing by what the other side says are the rules, or what the rules were 25 years ago. People on our side are so exquisitely tuned to detect social pressure we won't even bump up against the real rules. No, we detect what the rules were, as stated or dictated to us, add a wide margin so as to not ruffle even one feather, and then stay far away from even the periphery of the neighborhood on the outside of the boundary of the "rule."

We are always faithful to tell anyone within earshot when we are about to make a statement not-approved by the Thought Police ("this may not be PC...").

Each of us needs to practice daily causing a commotion and breaking out of the PC penalty box. Until we are accustomed and comfortable being the skunk at the party we will keep shirking our civic duty and we will keep tolerating losers like Boehner and McConnell running our "opposition." I'd deport everyone that is surprised when Boehner surrenders to Obama. Those people deliberately avoid learning anything from Boehner's years in office.

We applaud Breitbart and Whittle and then act like Barney Fife.
