Whether I'm right or wrong in my supposition about the image matters not. It only matters that it evoked those recollections, and piqued my curiosity as to his having donned that image.
I'll have to go click on the link now, to see if I was anywhere near being right.

Crazy Guggenheim was a character on the old Jackie Gleason show, in the Joe the Bartender skits. Jackie was the Bartender. Frank Fontaine portrayed Crazy Guggenheim.
