The days are short? It is the long days which I fear. We are still looking down the road guarding against the revolution while the revolution passed by eighty years ago. That is a day. When Cicero decried the loss of the Republic, it's shell had six long days left. But even as time is quickened now, perhaps we have more hours left than we think in which to debase ourselves.
