Comments: Destroying the U.S. Military

And in the last two months Americans have bought enough firearms to outfit the whole U.S. military... and would have bought more if they had the chance. Hence the push to disarm the populace

Yeah, you ought to see my new AK-47. I didn't really want it but it was worth $1000 just to piss 'em off.

I suspect the armed forces are doing more for American interests over there than their government's doing over here.

I'm well aware the American defense posture is near absolute zero, rock bottom, nil. That was the message of Benghazi: don't call us, we'll call you.

Then, there's the actual infrastructure of the armed forces. Remember after Vietnam (few do, but I do and I mean this rhetorically) we were demoralized and standing down lots and lots of equipment and troops? I haven't run the numbers, but this is on that order. Morally, we are at the place we were at the lowest posture for defense between the world wars.

Is it killing you that Obama used the phrase, "Peace in our time," in the inauguration? That is either spooky as shit, or the world's dumbest politician at his finest. You decide.

Oh, back to our defensive posture. Care to lose a war any time soon? Here is my advice, and you ought to ask around about this. Never, ever, lose a war. Of course there are lesser indignities that we may also suffer, like being pushed around by every tin pot foreign sovereign who wants a piece of us. Ever watch High Noon?

Bill Jones thinks we can live in a vacuum. We can ignore the world and the world will ignore us. Bill Jones is a dope.
