No culture is better than another, and all cultures have equally valid ways of doing things. Just look at how environmentally friendly and close to the land these people are, doing without icky yucky poo-poo carbon-spewing Western power grids, or sanitation, or hospitals, or paved roads, or refrigeration, or the germ theory of disease, or resource management, or ...

Now I feel kind of bad about some of those things I've said about the California Department of Fish and Game over the years. Say what you like, but the fishing season is still longer than fifteen minutes.
