Comments: Girl Fight!

You know, if the movie rolls towards its big finish and it's got the guys ripping into each other someplace, and then someplace else the good girl and the bad girl start getting down & dirty and the camera switches back & forth between the boy fight & the girl fight...I don't know what it is about that combination, but it can lift many a mediocre movie into the heights of the tolerable. See "Die Another Day." And, when Jamie Lee Curtis mixed it up with Tia Carrere in True Lies that was pretty cool even if it didn't last long. It works even if it's completely one-sided, like Faye Dunaway murdering Raquel Welch in The Four Musketeers. I can't say what the appeal is. It's a timeless attraction men have for drama that cannot include them. Forbidden fruit or something.
