Thanks for finding and posting this video of an American family, their friends and town. Hopefully what it captures is not a bygone occurrence. It is beautiful, piquant and painful to watch, because so many in my generation did not partake.
I hope that younger people will be inspired to create a world like this for themselves.

It reminds be of a recent episode of Chasing Classic Cars where the son finds and restores the actual 1955 AC Ace that his dad won races with in the 50's. The best episode of that show ever. Talk about a tearjerker. I've tried to find the video on-line, but no luck. It aired January 22, 2013.
