Plus it's the anniversary of the San Francisco Fire. And my birthday.

Posted by mushroom at April 18, 2013 1:59 PMThanks, mushroom.
I was born the day Ernie Pyle died. No wonder nobody noticed.

Posted by Rob De Witt at April 18, 2013 4:22 PMReminds me of how people laughed at Sarah Palin for saying "Revere warned the British," or something. What she was trying to say was that, in an act of defiance, Revere did taunt the British dragoon officer who briefly detained him -- telling the man that 500 militiamen stood between his forces and the militia armory at Concord.
