Why NPR is far beyond its sell-by date

If you look down the list of goals and reasons behind the creation of the Corporation for Public broadcasting, you can see that every single one of them has been not just met, but exceeded massively. CPB done its job and should be completely ended; all of its subsidiaries like PBS and NPR need to be cut free to live on their own or die for lack of public interest.

I just had a bowel movement. And it sounded just like this.

You can't end the CPB when the Dems support it and the Repubs want to be liked by the Dems. Elect fighters, not conflict-avoiders. Do Chuck Schumer and Maxine Waters want to be liked by their opponents or are they busy helping their friends and hurting their enemies?

There is no referee that will enforce fairness. There is only the result from one side pushing for what they want and the other side pushing for what they want. When our side concentrates on fairness, not what helps us, we don't decrease political conflict by 50%, we guarantee our side is largely ignored. Savvy business and savvy consumers produce good results. Savvy businesses and passive consumers produce a wrecked economy. Fight for your side. It's your duty and the only hope we have.

Oh we're past all that, I believe. I just was pointing out something about the CPB that few even know any more.

So true. The Walking Dead.
I stopped listening to NPR the morning of 9/11 when Daniel Schurr reflexively wondered how the US had done something to deserve it.

NPR has become a wannabe parody of the Marxist elites in Europe. Just listen to the plummy faux British accents and self-satisfied "We know best for you" memes over at the BBC.
