The soft damage will be through the MSM: civil lawsuits against the poor shmoe and whoever else they can tack on; Black racist agitators and agents provocateurs getting fat on the carrion and gathering Sha Chi; lots of civil unrest.

Watching the dueling news conferences I saw a team that spoke with intelligence, and measured concision, and a group of marginally competent, politically greasy buffoons who it appears must only win cases by dint of having the full weight and resources of the state at their disposal.

The contrast could hardly have been more stark.

Though it must be said, the Skittles brand got a boost.

This doesn't seem to be taking off in the popular culture. I mean the usual suspects are yelling and waving their arms around but its not taking hold anywhere else. People aren't that unhappy about the verdict, even if they disagree with it.

For all their claims of non-judgementalism, liberals love to judge great swaths of society. Multiculturalism, racism, feminism, etc. are all leftist judgement against historical wrongs allegedly perpetrated by evildoers. Individualist-minded conservatives, who judge by the content of individual character, have a really difficult time understanding the the indictments of a unified left against their kind.

Liberalism most certainly does not embrace the Judeo-Christian value that "The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son".

The media is simply bemoaning the fact that if Trayangel had just been allowed to spread Zimmerman's brains on the sidewalk they wouldn't have had to work and report anything at all.
