The Difference Between Google Fiber vs. Broadband

The jazzy music sells it for me.

Name the song Mum!

The problem with fiber is that it is only as fast as your slowest link. If your pccard or router isn;t gig, it wont be any faster.

eee...Wish I could ID it. I used a music ID app that usually works great, but no matches.

G-Fiber is available in parts of Kansas City, but as of yet I have not talked to anyone who uses it.

eee - Yeah. And, when things are bogged down, the slowest links usually are .com sites based on the lower left coast or upper east coast. I have a .ro link I check frequently, and it is never bogged down. I don't know how .ro is routed, but it's certainly not through the bogged down trunks. AoSHQ seems never to be bogged down either, and it is .nu. Having a super fast local connection is good for local traffic, and that's about it.

All I got from the New Bossa Nova High Speed Interwebs thingy is that it will break my computer, it's so fast.
