Today: John Lennon was born in 1940 73 years ago

Thanks for the reminder. He's one of my favorites and always will be. Even with his dip-shit politics in the early 70's. He still manages to transcend the mundane and speaks to something more fundamental.
He's still missed.

He was iconic. So many truths stood out in his music. Politics are incidental to life. I think its interesting how God uses all things to serve his glory. All truth is Gods truth. Belief in something is separate from the truth itself.

Truth needs no belief structure or apology.

It just is.

God Bless you Gerard for your ability to see truth.

What a legacy: Yoko Ono and elevator music.

Woefully under-reported is that John Lennon turned over a new leaf in later life and ended up being a conservative. He thought Jimmy Carter was a fool, was a fan of Ronald Reagan, and loved to bait old-time communists into heated arguments.
