It is time to reflect and learn.

As a small child of 4 in 1960, I saw Kennedy speak on the courthouse steps of my home town, as Senator Kennedy, while sitting on my mother's shoulders.

In 2012, I saw Mitt Romney speak (while standing on my own two feet) and was just a bit closer.

The barrier or wall between the people and their government grows higher and wider. Fear and loathing drives it; they fear and loathe we, the people.

The govt has good reason to fear the people. If only the people understood this is necessary for their liberty to last. Instead the culture is becoming like Japan where we live by the adage the tallest nail gets hit. Our side won't even use the tactics The Left has made famous because we are afraid of the govt. Things can't get better if personal comfort is our highest goal.

The Left will invent our guilt, so we won't remain above reproach. We might as well start practicing a little rebellion until we can organize and practice real Hope & Change. Or, we can pretend our neighbors will notice our lawns are so well kept we must be OK.
